In Loving Memory of Bibi Nazalene Budhu (Diana)
June 9, 1957 – November 9, 2025
Bibi Nazalene Budhu, affectionately known to family and friends as Diana, passed away on November 9, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on June 9, 1957, in Guyana to Raffuiddin and Jaitoon, Diana’s life was a beautiful reflection of kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved.
At the center of Diana’s life was her loving family. For fifty-one wonderful years, she shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Livy A. Budhu, and together they raised three children who were her pride and joy— Andre, Marissa (Peter), and Adrian (Christopher). Her two grandsons, Owen and Aiden, filled her days with laughter, boundless energy, and light, and she treasured every precious moment spent with them.
She was a cherished sister to Ivan, Bibi, Nizam, and Emam; in-law to Marcellene, Maureen, Barbara, Gilbert, Ingrid, Beverly, John, and Pam; and aunty to many loved nieces and nephews. She now joins in eternal peace her brothers Fred, Bond, and Alladeen, along with her beloved parents. Diana had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel valued and loved — through her radiant smile, gentle words, and countless acts of kindness that touched all who knew her.
Her home was always open, her laughter contagious, and her heart bigger than life itself. Diana loved cooking for her family, celebrating togetherness, and sharing stories that could fill a room with joy. She carried her faith and strength quietly but firmly — a guiding light to those who needed comfort or courage.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor her memory to make a donation to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/donate.html.
Diana’s love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she is gone from our sight, her spirit — gentle, giving, and full of grace — will remain with us always.
