Bill Adams Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Bill Adams, 91, of Hot Springs Village, entered his eternal home with the Lord on August 15, 2025.
Bill's life was a beautiful example of faith, generosity, and love. He is reunited in heaven with his parents, William Rafe and Harriet Elizabeth Kesler-Adams, three sons, Mark, David, and Wade Adams; as well as two younger brothers John, and James Adams.
He leaves behind his beloved wife and partner of 70 years, Peggy Brockwell-Adams; his treasured daughter, Leslie Adams-Carpenter; six grandchildren; Stefanie (Kevin) Petit, Aaron (Stacy) Carpenter, Brooke (Michael) Steven, Adam Carpenter, Haley (Harry) Goldman, and Annie (Shane) Dempster; and six great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Clarke, Liv, Sky, Cricket, Holden, Peyton, Shep, and Reese who were the delight of his later years.
Bill lived with a servant's heart and a joyful spirit. For more than three decades, he poured his energy into the Hot Springs Village Kiwanis Club and also gave his time to Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, the Boys and Girls Club, Jessieville High School, and the Salvation Army. His smile and laughter were as much a gift to those organizations as his time and effort.
He attended Baylor University and enjoyed a successful career as a sales manager with Western Publishing who published The Little Golden Books, where his love of children's stories reflected his own sense of wonder and joy. A proud Marine, Bill served his country during the Korean War with courage and honor. Above all, he was a man of God - faithfully serving as a Deacon at Balboa Baptist Church, where his devotion and encouragement uplifted many.
Bill's life was a celebration of faith, family, and service. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness and love.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village.
