Bill Bruce, age 53, has joyfully been reunited in heaven with his beloved son Scott Bruce, His parents William and Marianne Bruce, and his Grandparents Frank and Daras Warning, and Margaret Bruce.
Bill will be deeply missed by his loving sister Cheryl, his cousins Rick (Diana) Vied, and Becky Vied.
During his lifetime Bill had an impact on many people, and most people he met, grew to call him a friend, and some lucky enough to be lifelong friends. Bill took great pride in his son Scott, they had an unbreakable bond, teaching Scott many things, as a proud father does. So much so that others grew to see Bill as their father figure as well.
Some have said to know Bill, was to love Bill. He was a special man, that will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He could make anyone smile, laugh and was a blessing to all of us who knew him.
The Bruce family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff at the Christ Hospital, for taking such good care of Bill, and going out of their way to tell him how much joy he brought them during their days; and also want to thank everyone that has reached out and offered a helping hand, a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on during the difficult times, especially to Joe (Melanie) Rook, Don (Joan) Spears, Darren (Micky) Wesley, Steve (Nancy) Groh, Laura (Lew) Schmitt, Brent Terry, Tony and Johnnie Trew, Marsha (Ron) Pairin, and Pam Wesley Caroll.
Visitation will take place on Friday January 26, 2024, at Hodapp Funeral Home in Carthage, 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45216 from 5 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 7 P.M.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bill's honor to The American Cancer Society, or to The Christ Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit.
