William (Bill), 67, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was born in Palm Springs to Judith and William Manger, where he graduated from Palm Springs High School in 1975. He met his wife, Laurey, on May 22, 1986 and married on November 21, 1987 in Palm Springs.
Bill's success at his cabinetry business, Custom Caseworks, was a testament to his hard work, dedication, and natural talent. His diligence and craftsmanship set him apart. He later created his own pool cleaning business Manger Pools, which he managed for over 30 years. His loyal customers knew they could always count on him to deliver high-quality work that exceeded their expectations.
Beyond his career, he was a devoted husband, father, sibling, grandfather, and friend, he lived a life full of love. Family was Bills' pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them. In his spare time, he also enjoyed golfing, catching reptiles, and outdoor activities such as riding ATV's and waterskiing.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Laurey; his children, Christopher and Chelsea; his grandchild, Emerson; his brothers, Michael (Karen), Steven, Robert, Jeffrey (Courtney); sister, Kristine; and many other cherished relatives and friends.
The impact of Bill's life and passing will continue to resonate with those who knew him, reminding them of the fragility of life and the importance of treasuring every moment spent together. In honoring his memory, those left behind can find strength in unity.
A memorial service and private celebration of life will be held by invitation only, extended to close family and friends. The family thanks everyone for their love and support during this time.
Bill will be remembered for his kind spirit, great humor and sarcasm, and boundless love for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
