Obituary of Bill Moos
Sioux Falls – William "Bill" Moos, 78, went to his heavenly home Friday, December 6, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 14 at 10:30 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stickney. Visitation will be Friday, December 13 from 6 to 7 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stickney.
Bill was born November 14, 1946 to Verlon and Jeanie (Hausmann) Moos in Burke, SD. He lived on a farm near Fairfax, SD and graduated from Fairfax High School. He served his country in the United States Army from Janaury 26, 1966 until being honorably discharged on January 8, 1968. During his military service, he was stationed Germany. Bill moved to Armour, SD where he owned operated the Mobil Service Station. He later worked for Koenig Lumber for many years. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed anything to do with cars, traveling, and music and concerts.
Grateful for having shared his life are his 3 children; Kim (Rob) Kucsik of Four Seasons, MO and their children, Ethan and Ella; Scott (Krystle) Moos of Waco, TX and their children, Aidan, Kiera and Sophie; and Jason (Becky) Moos of Macks Creek, MO and their children, Madison and Abigail; Bill's significant other, Virginia Matlock and her son, Tim (Kimberlea) Matlock and their children, Presley, and Holden; 3 siblings, Judy (Norbert) Koenig of Fairfax, Randy (Linda) Moos of Fairfax, and Kathy (Steve) Cahoy of Bonesteel, SD; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
