Billie Ann Brooks

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Billie Ann Brooks, who left us on November 23, 2025, just shy of her 74th birthday. Born on December 2, 1951, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Billie lived her life with joy and compassion, making a lasting impact on those around her.

Billie was a devoted spouse to her husband, John Brooks; daughter, Jada Michelle McKinney; grandchildren, Cory Hope Mckinney, Kenesha Jace Bratton; great grandchildren, Sakiyah Dallas Brown, Kashlyn Jace Bratton and; brothers, Robert Jimmy Rogers and Jeff Rogers; sisters, Tammy Paysour and Sandy Rogers. She cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeannie Rogers; son, Cory McDonald; great grandson, Ilyas Steven Wise Bratton; brother, Danny Gene Rogers.

Known for her artistic spirit, she had a passion for painting and loved spending time at the beach, where she found inspiration and peace.

Billie dedicated her professional life to being an administrator in the custom brokerage industry, where her organizational skills and attention to detail made her a valued colleague and friend.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Billie's life at a Funeral Service on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation starting beforehand at 10:00 AM. Both services will be held at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel.
