After high school she married her high school sweetheart, Tommy Wells and they would have three loving children out of this union. Later, they would separate but remained life-long friends. Billie would discover love again when she met Fred Hupp. They married on May 6, 1977, in Pampa and shared over 20 years together before his passing.

Billie worked as a bookkeeper for many years and started work for the Dunigan family in the late 70’s and remained working for Mike until recently. She was a talented woman who liked the crafts and her garden; you could find her working with ceramics, upholstering, sewing, and tending to her flowers.
Billie worked as a financial secretary for the First United Methodist Church for 19 years. Billie spent years volunteering at the Relay for Life sometimes working all night. Billie was an easy person to love, she was always welcoming and caring. Without a doubt, she was woman of faith who led by example, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
