Services for Billie Sue Magouirk, 89, of Whitehouse will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Whitehouse with visitation at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Mike Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at the Whitehouse Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Magouirk passed away June 12th while in residence at Reunion Plaza under the care of The Hospice of East Texas. Sue was born September 8, 1935, in Mt. Sylvan, Texas to Henry and Macie Campbell. Sue graduated from Tyler High, subsequently attending commercial college. Sue worked as a secretary for several years and then found the job she dearly loved in the offices of Whitehouse Schools. Sue was a member of First Baptist Church and often put her much-appreciated cooking skills into action serving others at church, in the schools, and friends in the Whitehouse community. She enjoyed baking, serving others and spending time with her grandchildren brought her a special joy. She loved watching sports, Chiefs, Rangers & Cowboys were her favorites. Sue (Nana) was rarely without a smile on her face, was generous to a fault, and she loved praying for others (if she knew you, you were in her prayers).
Sue was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, Carolyn Lofton of Louisiana, and her beloved husband, Bob Magouirk. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Cathy Lusk and husband Mike, of Tyler; son, David Magouirk and wife, Denise, of Whitehouse; grandchildren, Lindsey Cope, Chad Patton, Casey Lusk, Maegan Hearon, Jessica Ocker, Brandi Grosvenor and Morgan Magouirk; sister, Betty Lou Waters and husband John of Whitehouse, and brother, James A. Campbell and wife, Candy of Ft. Worth. Sue is also survived by 13 precious great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Grandsons and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers: Chad Patton, Casey Lusk, Rick Cope, Jake Ocker, Kasey Hearon, Hunter Bryant, and Andrew Grosvenor.
If desired, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Whitehouse Building Fund, 801 E. Main St., Whitehouse, TX 75791 (https://firstw.org/give) or to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701 (https://hospiceofeasttexas.org).

Precious Aunt Sue, was such a Sweet Angel on this Earth and now a Beautiful Angel up in Heaven. She is with our Wonderful Savior, Jesus, the love of her life, Uncle Bob and the many relatives waiting to see her. I remember such good memories of Christmas, Easter Egg Hunts, her Delicious Cooking. She went the extra mile in everything she did. She will forever be missed and forever loved.

Aunt Sue,

You have been the best aunt I could ever ask for. I have so many wonderful memories with you and Uncle Bob through out my life. I will forever hold you close in my heart. I miss you so much already and it´s comforting to know that you are together with your soul mate and true love, Uncle Bob. I love you so much.

Love your niece,
