SANTA FE – Billie Joyce (Moore) Marabella passed from this life Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Santa Fe.

She was born May 17, 1940, in Algoa, Texas. She lived her entire life in the Santa Fe area and attended Santa Fe schools. During her high school years, she met the love of her life, Frank Marabella. They married November 1, 1958, and spent 66 years together until her death. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church for many years and officially joined the Catholic faith in April 2009. She was a member of the Altar Society and Friendship Club at Our Lady of Lourdes for many years.

She loved playing games - everything from poker to dominos to bingo. In fact, she played bingo just a few days before her death. And she was a fierce competitor.

Billie is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Teri Martin and husband, Tim; daughter, Lori Dilworth and husband, Bill; son, Jeff Marabella and wife, Stephenie; sister, Carol Greathouse; brother-in-law, Jack Ploss. She had six grandchildren, Robert Watson, Jordan Ward and wife, Miranda, Andrew Watson and fiancée, Margaux Sobilo, Berkley Marabella and fiancée, Taylor, Charlie Marabella and wife, Courtney and Faith Marabella. Great-grandchildren Jayson Ward, Micah Watson and Blake Ward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dolly Moore; mother and father-in-law, Carmelo and Jerome Marabella; brother, Bobby Moore; sisters-in-law, Shirley Moore, Margaret Ploss, Annie Rehm; son-in-law, Bill Watson.

Pallbearers will be Robert Watson, Jordan Ward, Andrew Watson, Berkley Marabella, Charlie Marabella and Faith Marabella.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a Rosary at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Reverend Larry Wilson, Celebrant.

Instead of flowers a memorial donation in Billie's honor can be sent to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 10114 Hwy. 6 Hitchcock, Texas 77563.
