Billie Louise Mirth passed away from this life January 6, 2024, at the age of 89.
Billie was raised in the Oklahoma City area and attended school at Putnam City for 12 years where she was active in band, twirling, FHA and pep club. While in school she made lifelong friends whom she dearly enjoyed spending time with. Billie loved art, she returned to college after her boys were older and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from USAO in Chickasha, OK. Billie could look at just about anything and quickly decide that she could use it for an art project. She loved ladybugs and to draw, she was a talented painter and she especially loved to paint gourds.
Billie loved her family. She was Mom to Michael, who preceded her in death, Brad wife Lori, and Scott and wife Darla. She was Granny to Kait and husband Nathan, Frankie and partner Derek, Aly and husband Chad, Danyelle and partner Austin, John, Rachael, Dylan, Thomas, and Audrey.
She was Great-Granny to Ryker, Alysen, Hazel, June and Bea. She was a born-again Christian who cherished her friends and family, especially her Gann cousins.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, William Orville and Carmen Parker, and brothers William Harold and Jerry Parker. She is survived by three nephews David, Jeff, and Stephen Parker and many more family and friends.
Living now in eternal peace and in our hearts forever. A special thank you to Integris Southwest Medical Center and the Integris Hospice House - your care and compassion was very much appreciated during this difficult time.
Funeral services begin at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main St. in Moore, OK. Interment will follow the service at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel.
