It is with both a heavy heart and joyful remembrance that we announce the passing of Billie Carolyn Turner, age 82, who left us peacefully on December 26, 2024. Billie was born on January 24, 1942, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to the late James Fredrick Tillison and Gladys Irene (Reynolds) Tillison, and her spirit touched the lives of many throughout her remarkable journey.

Billie is survived by her beloved daughters, Lori Center, and her husband Jim; and Paula Turner her cherished son, Paul Turner ; and her loving siblings, Mitchell Tillison, Bobby Tillison, and Patricia Rogers. She was a proud grandmother to Robert Battershell, Cherokee Turner, Kallie Center, Jack Center, Jennifer Turner, Kaleigh Battershell, and Jodi Waters, and a delighted great-grandmother to Emerlynn, Oaklynn, Ellis, Katie, and Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Leroy Turner, and her beloved son, John Turner, as well as her parents, and her brothers and sisters: John Tillison, Freddie Tillison, Mary Shamel, and Mae Tillison.

We will reflect on her love for sketching, drawing, playing bingo and Scrabble, and her favorite pastime of watching Hallmark movies and game shows. Most importantly, we will cherish the countless moments she spent with her children and grandchildren, her pride and joy.
