Billie Ann Turner

Billie Ann Turner, lovingly known by most as "Granny" or "Bambi," of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.
Born on May 1, 1933, in Brummette, Arkansas, to the late William and Lillian Ray, Billie Ann lived a life marked by grace, dedication, and love. She began her career with the Pine Bluff Arsenal, where she worked for many years before retiring. Never one to sit still for long, she went on to bring warmth and joy to countless guests as a restaurant hostess-first at Jones Café and later at Bonanza-where her kind smile and welcoming spirit made her a beloved fixture until the day the doors closed.
In addition to her parents, Billie Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Charles Turner; her sons, Richard Paul Turner and Mark Edwin Turner; and her sister, Thelma Anderson.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving children: her son, Charles "Chuck" Ray Turner; her daughter, Terri LeAnn Cicero (Gary); along with many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Billie Ann will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her unwavering faith, and the warmth she extended to everyone who had the joy of knowing her. Her presence was a blessing, and her legacy of kindness and strength will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
A Memorial Service to honor Billie Ann's life will take place in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral home 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, with Chaplin Lance Hickerson officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
