Billly Eugene Lacewell

Billy Eugene Lacewell, age 62, of Malden, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his daughter’s residence in Desloge. Billy was born on Tuesday, April 30, 1963, in Kennett to the late Connie Eugene and Helen Faye (Batchelor) Lacewell.

Billy dedicated his life to the farming industry, beginning his journey at the young age of 16. For over 40 years, he selflessly contributed his talents and hard work to the agricultural community in the Malden area, earning the respect and admiration of his peers.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Michele (Taylor) Lacewell and brother in infancy, Jerrod Lacewell.

Billy was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in bowling with his friends on a league and spending cherished moments fishing at Lake Wappapello. His laughter and warmth illuminated the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

Billy is survived by his loving daughters, Chasity (Doug) Grayson and Heather Banks; brother, Bobby Lacewell; stepdaughters, Misty Moore, Jennifer Barnes and Brandi James; grandsons, Andrew and Michael; step-grandchildren, Amber, Lucas, Blake, Braiden, Bryson, Destiny. Cassidy and Bailey along with several aunts, uncles, bowling league friends and family.

 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
