Billy Ray Dixon, 84 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Billy was born Saturday, July 13, 1940, in Livingston, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Isaac Peyton Dixon and the late Cora A. (Copeland) Dixon.
Billy was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He loved to garden, spend time with family, and loved God. He was a member of University Heights Baptist Church for many years. Billy was loved by those who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Billy is survived by his Nephew, Frankie Dixon, and his wife, Rhonda; 2 Step Daughters, Brenda McCloud and her husband, Horace, and Becky Robertson, and her husband, Ron; Niece, Melissa; Several Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his Wife of 26 years, Trudy Dixon; 2 Brothers, Bennie Dixon and Oral Dixon.
Funeral Service for Billy Ray Dixon will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Gaw officiating. Entombment will follow the service.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 202,5 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
