Billy Dixon, 59, beloved husband of nine years to Mrs. Kim Dixon, of Warrenville, South Carolina, passed away on December 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born on June 29, 1966, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Fletcher and Carolyn Rutland Dixon. He was a 1985 graduate of Midland Valley High School. Billy retired from the Savannah River Site after thirty-three years of dedicated service. He loved being outdoors, going to the beach and the lake, and going on cruises.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim, whom he lovingly referred to as his "Beautiful Crazy"; a step-grandson, Kingston Parrott; stepdaughters, Kaitlyn (Zay) Matheny, of Jackson, South Carolina, and McKey Monroe, of Baltimore, Maryland; his sisters, Sherri (Todd) King, and Kellie (Keith) Adams, all of Warrenville, South Carolina, and his beloved pets, Juno and Izzy Girl.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the caring and compassionate nurses with Professional Case Management, especially those who became a part of the family: Amanda Farley, Joy Karumba, Suzanne Bedichek, and Ashley Hanks.
The family also wishes to show their love and gratitude to Carla Ward, who stayed by Kim's side during Billy's final days.
The family would also like to acknowledge his close friends and colleagues: George "Charlie Brown" Pope, Dr. Teresa Pope, LaToya Cummings, Londrae "Peanut" Knotts, Teresa Kenner, Asia Simmons, Robert and Caroline Clay, and the nursing staff of Professional Case Management.
At Mr. Dixon's request, there will be a private graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, South Carolina.
