Billy Ray was born on October 13, 1948 in Wausau, FL. He was a Navy Veteran who loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Billy Ray worked in the HVAC service for 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Sallie Everett; and brothers, Jim Everett and Charles Everett.
Left to treasure Billy Ray's memory is his wife of 22 years, Myra Everett; daughters, Jamie Johnson, Tina Hubbard and Dana Johnson (Chris); sons, J.W. Everett (Misty), Jonathan Everett and Kevin Hubbard (Patty); grandchildren, Cheyenne Everett, Caleb Bedwell (Nataley), Megan Akins (Brandon), Dustin Akins, Justin Hubbard (Kayla), Makayla Belser (Kyren), Kamren Johnson and Emily Johnson; great-grandchildren, Aleah, Jonathan, Andrew, Lakin, Hannah, Carson, Casin, Lilly, Luxx, Kara and Kaylie; sisters, Dolly, Margie and Ethelyn; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor James Brogdon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oasis of Love Church Cemetery.
