She was raised by her mother, Star Madonna, in Farrell, Pennsylvania, with her siblings, Rachel Raver and Samuel Raver. Mattie graduated from Farrell High School in summer of 1984. From there, Mattie's life took her many places; a term in the Marine Corps, marriage, births of three beautiful children, and finally to settling here in Panama City, FL. Mattie enjoyed going out with friends and being the life of the party. She passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 59.
Mattie is preceded in death by her parents, Star Madonna Raver and Douglas Raver; and brother, Samuel Raver.
She is survived by her children, Cedric Raver, Jacquelyn Raver Gomes (Charles) and Madalyn Hilbolt; granddaughters, Julianna Raver and Caia Gomes; sister, Rachel Raver; nephew, Raymond Raver; best friends, Barbie Matele and Bob McNeal; and numerous other close family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1410 Airport Rd., Panama City, FL.
