Billy Hamby Obituary
Born in Pelzer, SC, he was the son of the late William and Lillian Greer Hamby.
A Veteran of the US Navy, Bill was a member of Mauldin Church of God where he served as Clerk and an Usher. For many years, he coached the church softball team.
In addition to his wife of 67 years, Bill is survived by two sons, Tony Hamby (Liberty),and Bryan Hamby; along with two grandchildren, Kristen Hamby and Joshua Hamby.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings, Rev. Norman Luther Hamby, and Ruth Hamby Dickerson.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 02, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Mauldin Church of God followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mauldin Church of God.
