Mr. Bill J. Huebsch (Jack) died on 12-3-25 in Indian Land, SC at the age of 83. Jack is survived by daughter Kristina Erin Summerlee and son Kurt Erich Huebsch. He is also survived by grandchildren Blythe Gergely, Mason Huebsch, Penny Huebsch, and Jacob Huebsch.
Jack was born on November 16, 1942, in Sherman, Texas to parents Bill and Effie Huebsch. He attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from Austin College in 1966 with a Bachelor's degree. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. His career spanned 38 years in Texas, Connecticut and NYC, retiring in 2005 as VP of Human Resources with JP Morgan Chase Bank in Manhattan.
In 1961 and 62' he played piano professionally at many nightclubs throughout the Southeast and East including the Saks Boom Boom room in Bossier City, LA., Clearpool in Memphis, TN and the famous Peppermint Lounge in Manhattan.
In his earlier years Jack enjoyed tennis, golf, and snow skiing in Vermont and New Hampshire with family and friends. He loved ocean boating and for 30 years frequented the numerous ports between NYC and Boston, including his favorites of Block Island, R.I., Newport, RI, and Provincetown, MA. In his latter years Jack enjoyed watching movies at his home with his family and working on his hobby of gardening. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren Blythe, Mason, Penny, Jacob and all that they have accomplished.
