Billy Jackson Jarrell

Billy Jackson Jarrell, age 92, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, surrounded by his family. Billy was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on June 11, 1931, to the late Bill and Sarah Bell (Danley) Jarrell. He was a devoted member of the East Cheatham Church of Christ; a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired factory worker and farmer. Billy is survived by his children, Mike (Margie) Jarrell and Steve (Lorre) Jarrell; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Karen) Jarrell, Brandon (Amanda) Jarrell, Tyler (Presley Langley) Jarrell, Nina (Jimmy) Farris, and Jason Jarrell; and great-grandchildren, Ava Farris, Jett Jarrell and Ashlyn Jarrell. Preceding Billy in death are his wife, Imogene Delores Jarrell; parents, Bill and Sarah (Danley) Jarrell Perry Dozier; and daughter, Peggy Chambliss. Funeral service will be Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Mike Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4th from 3pm to 7pm and resume Friday before the service from 11am until service hour of 2pm. Serving as active pallbearers will be Jeffrey Jarrell, Brandon Jarrell, Tyler Jarrell, Jett Jarrell, Jason Jarrell, and Jimmy Farris. Honorary pallbearers are Dwight Thornton and Charlie Spears.
