Billy E. Patrick, a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, after a long illness. Born on July 4, 1955, in Covington, Kentucky, Billy brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew him.
Throughout his life, he embraced his role as a family man, taking pride in his proudest accomplishments: his family. He is survived by his cherished wife of 31 years, Diana Patrick (nee Kessen), who stood by him through thick and thin. Together, they raised a family that includes his sons, Janson (Tammy Wickey) Wade, Justin (Jeanette) Wade, Billy (Sonia) Patrick, Jr., Amber Patrick, Tonya Ward, Lisa Patrick, David Patrick, Dennis Patrick, and Anthony Patrick. His legacy is further carried on by his beloved grandchildren, Sebastian Wade, Clarisa Patrick, Marissa Patrick, Billy Patrick, III, Brandon Higgs, Max Higgs, Paige Patrick, Hannah Patrick, Kaylee Patrick, Tyler Patrick, and Taylor Patrick.
Billy was remembered not only for his devotion to family but also for his passion and interests. An avid Bengals fan, he enjoyed spending time vacationing with family, especially at the beach. His love for classic cars led him to partake in numerous car shows, and his entertainment choices included watching wrestling, which added to the joyful memories he created with his loved ones. He also had a knack for cooking, often delighting family and friends with his culinary skills.
Billy is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Patrick, and his mother, Maryjane Patrick (nee Gabbard). He is also survived by his brother, Robert Patrick; sister, Linda Patrick; and brother, Teddy Patrick, along with a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss his presence.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018, on June 9, 2025. The visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service. Following, Billy will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.
The lives he touched and the love he shared will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Billy E. Patrick will be remembered not just for his loving spirit, but for the joy and laughter he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
