BILLY RAY PRICE
Billy Ray Price, age 89, died Friday August 1, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Pastor Charlie Whitney officiating.
Mr. Price was born on July 2, 1936 in Liberty, Alabama to the late Alson Price and Lois Seacott Price. He was a member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church and a retired electrical supply salesman for Puckett-McGee. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Price, sister-in-law, Yoshiko Price, and son-in-law, Gary Dyer.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Price, children, Michael (Debra) Price, Jan P. Dyer, and Dan Price, of Alpharetta, GA. Grandchildren Rebecca (Chris) Wright of Hernando, MS, Danielle D. (Nick) Davis of Rochester, Indiana. Great grandchildren Alaina Wright, Layla Wright, Gary Davis, Pyper Davis, Skylar Davis, and Sofia Davis.
Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Price, Danny Thornton, Bruce Cyr, Matt Cyr, Austin Cyr, and John Fields. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Robertson, Grace Baptist Church family, Doug & Hazel's employees, Fred Hall, and Lee Roy Lollar.
