Billy Randall "Randy" Rogers, 68, of Sherwood, AR passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his home.
Randy was born September 26, 1956, in Magnolia, AR to the late Billy Robert and Mary Jo (Wilson) Rogers. He was a supervisor and retired from the Albemarle Corporation.
Randy was an outdoorsman who loved to fish in area ponds, lakes, and rivers in Arkansas and was a member of the Columbia County Bass Club. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan and enjoyed watching movies with his favorite actor, John Wayne. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his three granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Wilborn and Effie Rogers; maternal grandparents, Porter and Mary D. Wilson; sister, Sherrie Ann Carter; mothers-in-law, Sue Bell and Wanda Bell; and sister-in-law, Heather Bell.
Randy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kim Rogers of Sherwood; children, Brandy Rogers-Faught and husband Steve of North Little Rock, Jason Rogers of Sherwood, and Tyler Rogers of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Karah Rogers of Fayetteville, Hadlee Rogers of Sherwood, and Magnolia Rogers of Fayetteville; sister, Judy Wells and husband Bubba of Buckner; father-in-law, Vernon Bell of Sherwood; brother-in-law, Robert Carter, Jr. of Stephens; sister-in-law, Suzanne Bell of North Little Rock; uncle, Jimmy Wilson and wife Gay Nell of Magnolia; special friends and neighbors, Eddie Stephens of Magnolia and Clark Mitchell of Sherwood; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. Burial will be in the Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Roberto Garcia, Chad Rader, Bill Wells, Terry Neal, Michael Paul Stephens, and Steve Faught. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Stephens, Bubba Wells, Jimmy Wilson, and Ed Grafton.
The family requests memorial donations be made to support youth educational programs with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, mail donations to; Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, ATTN: Deke Whitbeck, 2 Natural Resources Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205.
