Billy Stalnaker Obituary
Mr. Stalnaker passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center East. He was born on June 17, 1941 in East Tallassee, Alabama to Willie Stalnaker and Grace Carter Stalnaker. He was an active member and Deacon of Bethany Baptist Church. Mr. Stalnaker was owner and operator of Stalnaker AC Service for over 40 years. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Stalnaker was a simple man that enjoyed the simple things in life but most of all loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and coaching little league sports.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pauline Stalnaker; sons, Barry Stalnaker and Shane Stalnaker (Debbie); grandchildren, Clay Barker, Lauren Powell (Ashlee), and Hampton Stalnaker; great-grandchildren, Annabella Skarecky, Charleston Powell, and Kace Powell; sister, Cheryl Daugherty (Tommy); and mother-in-law, Palestine Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Henley; and brother, Charles Stalnaker.
