Billy Strickland, 85, passed on to his Heavenly home on October 5, 2025 in Glen Rose, Texas. Billy was born January 24, 1940 in Coleman, Texas to Curtis Strickland and Zenovia Loving Strickland. He attended Glenview Church of Christ in Glen Rose, Texas.
Billy's greatest time was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to sing at Church, fish, ride his tractor, loved animals, and loved to watch the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by: son, Michael C. (Julie) Edwards from Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Tracy K. (Gerald) Holland from Crowley, Texas. Billy was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose, Texas from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at Glenview Church of Christ, Glen Rose, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Georges Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose, Texas.
