Billy Teafatiller Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home - Mount Pleasant on Feb. 7, 2024.
Billy Gene Teafatiller, 73, of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed from this life to his Heavenly Home on February 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born on May 11, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Milton James Teafatiller and Ina Mae (Adams) Teafatiller.
Billy was a Christian and a member of Bar Nun Cowboy Church in Omaha, Texas where he was baptized on October 6, 2022. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a construction manager where he and his crews built power plants and also was employed by Pilgrim's in the construction of large pieces of equipment. He enjoyed raising animals and farming. He was an avid drag racing fan and owner of race cars and muscle cars. He was greatly involved with his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them attending their sporting events and teaching them about life on the farm - raising animals and how to operate the farm equipment. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Ina Teafatiller, one brother, and two sisters.
Left to cherish Billy's memory is his loving family: wife, Barbara Jean (Gulley) Teafatiller of Mount Pleasant, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Gretchen & Dave Aude of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Dax Aude, Dylan Aude & Devyn Aude, and two sisters.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Mountain Home Cemetery east of Eufaula, Oklahoma on Beaver Mountain Road with Bill Fitzer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant, Texas.
