Bj Tordoff

BJ Tordoff, 76, of Wellsburg, IA passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com. BJ was born February 1, 1949, to Raymond Lee and Frances (Fisher) Daniel in Marshalltown. She was educated in the Marshalltown schools. BJ was united in marriage for 43 years to Ron Tordoff. This union was one of friendship and partnership, along with her dedication of being a spouse of a career law enforcement officer. She worked most of her life in the food processing industry along with working in several area factories. BJ had a passion for all card and board games. The last five years BJ was dedicated herself to diamond art and painting. She also loved the last 14 months of spending time with her great-grandson Harvey Hamelau. BJ took pride in driving or riding anything once to include ATV's, UTV's, and Zero Turn Mowers. She could operate and run any piece of equipment up until her time of death. BJ will be missed by her life partner, Ron of Wellsburg, a son, Jeff (Rosea) Hamelau of Marshalltown, IA, several grandkids, a great grandson, Harvey, a sister, Shirley Martin of Wellsburg, a brother, Robert (Donna) Daniel of Ankeny, IA, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Hamelau and a brother, Gerald Daniel. BJ was touched by many and touched many lives. She will be deeply missed.
