It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Blake Ian McIntire, age 20, of
Rockwall, Texas. Blake was born in Dallas, Texas, on February 10, 2005, to parents Robert Joe McIntire and Susan Danell (Grable) McIntire. He entered into eternal rest on August 23, 2025, in Plano, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family.
Blake grew up in Rockwall as one of four children and was deeply cherished as a son, brother, grandson, and friend. From childhood, it was clear that Blake carried a unique spark. He was an extrovert who never met a stranger and had the ability to make anyone feel welcome. His mischievous smirk, sharp wit, and playful sense of humor could light up any room, and he had a gift for lifting others' spirits no matter the circumstance.
Blake attended high school in Rockwall and quickly established a strong work ethic. He was co-owner of 2 Guys and a Mower and later became an HVAC Installer with Milestone Electric. A true Texas boy at heart, Blake loved the outdoors and embraced life with an adventurous spirit. He thrived in nature, whether it was camping, fishing, riding four-wheelers, or simply getting his hands dirty. He once rode a bull just to prove he could, a testament to the bold way he lived. He also had a deep love for vehicles, collecting trucks and spending countless hours in the garage working on cars.
Music was another outlet for Blake's creativity. He found joy in playing his guitar, often filling his home with songs. He also treasured time spent RV'ing with his family, making memories on the open road, and taking care of his dog, Quinlan, who rarely left his side. Blake's faith and character were rooted in his upbringing and his involvement with First Baptist Church of Rockwall, where he enjoyed serving alongside his church family. Blake was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and his relationship with the Lord shaped the way he lived, treated others, and carried himself.
To know Blake was to know loyalty. He was truly an old soul, wise beyond his years. He was someone who left an impression wherever he went, whether through a helping hand, a witty joke, or simply his presence. Though his years were far too few, Blake lived fully. His adventurous spirit, deep love for family, and steadfast faith will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Blake is survived by his parents, Robert and Susan McIntire of Rockwall; his siblings, Barrett McIntire, Brynn McIntire, and Kaleb McIntire; and his grandparents, Gary and Marilyn Grable. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
