Blake Donnivine Parker, 37, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Born on February 16, 1988, in Phoenix, Arizona, Blake grew up dividing his time between Missouri and Arizona, weaving together memories of both places into who he became. He later found his calling as a handyman in residential construction, where he applied his skills with dedication and pride. Blake approached every task with a can-do spirit and a willingness to help others.
Known for his vibrant personality and infectious enthusiasm, Blake was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. He cherished time spent with family-whether hanging out at home, attending church or heading out for spontaneous adventures. One of his favorite things was car rides-music blaring, voices singing off-key but with full hearts, the kind of rides that turn into stories you carry forever. Blake made space for others: letting them vent, laugh, complain, sing, or just be themselves. He enjoyed video games, playing guitar and car shows. Blake had a special way of making people feel loved and appreciated. His sense of humor and fearless approach to life made him unforgettable to all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his grandmother, Sandra Jackson; his sister, Stephanie Diener; brother-in-law, Allen Herrell; his niece, Blair Ernst; aunts: Teresa Parker and Betsy Lewis, cousins: Ashley and Noah Nees, Dominic Parker, Jordan Parker, Scott Parker, Michael Parker, Scarlett Parker, and Zildjian Parker; uncles: John Parker, Jorge Fuentes, Tom Parker; Aunt and Uncle Veronica Parker, Jason Parker; cousins: Matthew Parker, Leah Parker, Cassandra Parker, Chelsea Parker, Andrew Leva, Kristin Leva, Noah Parker, Sydney Davis, Annmarie Parker, and Charlie Parker; nieces: Isabella Davis, Lillian Davis; nephews: Jayden and Jordan Herrell; Michael ("Dad") and Joni ("Mom"); his little brother: Zack Bennett; Grandma and Grandpa Bennett; as well as a large extended family and countless friends who loved him dearly.
Blake was preceded in passing by his mother, Tonya Parker, cousins: Samantha Parker and Ray Leyva.
May Blake's legacy of fun, laughter, and loving spirit bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Ozark Mountain Pentecostal Church 4619 Selmore Road, Ozark, Missouri.
Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. - DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory, Springfield, Missouri.
