Funeral services for Mr. Blake Nolan Ryan will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverends Bruce Maxwell and Chris Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Blake Nolan Ryan, 24, of Dry Prong, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Blake was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, and friend. He enjoyed listening to music, exercising, and lifting weights. He had a deep love for God, his family, and gospel music. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Barry Nolan Ryan; grandfather, Nolan Ryan; grandmother, Pat Robertson; and his cousin, Vaylan Arledge.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Liam Higgins of Pollock; his mother, Brandy Ryan of Dry Prong; two brothers, Vaylan Ryan of Dry Prong, and Dennis Ryan of Arkansas; three sisters, Breana Ryan of Dry Prong, Meadow Johnson of Dry Prong, and Serenity Ryan of Dry Prong; grandparents, Len and Rachel Wiggins of Dry Prong; his uncles, David Wiggins of Dry Prong, Robert Soileau, Jr. of St. Landry, Michael Soileau of Bayou Chicot, and Jesse Wiggins of St. Landry; his aunts, Roxanne Deville (Dayton) of Deville, Shanna Dean (Darrell) of Deville, Elizabeth Hillman (Chip) of St. Landry; and numerous cousins.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 12:00 noon until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Nicholas Roy, Zack Holden, Dennis Ryan, Dylan Ducote, Dayton Clark, and Will Land.
