Bo Tyner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Memorial Park, and Crematory on Feb. 22, 2024.
Bo Gary Tyner, age 51, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away suddenly on February 13, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Dr. Kelvin Croom officiating.
He is preceded in death by his father, John B. "JB" Tyner and grandparents, John L. and Laura Sanders.
He is survived by his mother, Jewel Julie Tyner; brothers, Kip Tyner and Larry Tyner (Missy); niece, Chelsie Wyman (Matt); nephew, Cody Tyner; great-niece, Grace Wyman; great-nephew, Luke Wyman; and beloved pets, Scoop, Bingo, Bing Bang, Patches, and many others.
No one will ever be as loved as Bo! At the age of 22 months the good Lord led him to his mom, Jewel Julie Tyner, who took him into her home and devoted her life to making the best life for him. Bo was diagnosed with ADHD and later bi-polar disorder, nothing deterred her from doing everything in her power to search the best doctors and treatments to make him better. Although his struggles continued through his life, she never gave up.
Meanwhile, it was quite obvious early on that he displayed qualities of a genius. There was hardly anything he couldn't fix or repair, especially becoming a brilliant mechanic, electrician, and technical master especially with computers. His mind was amazing when challenged.
Just a heart of gold, he never passed on seeing a hood up on someone's car (either stranded in a parking lot or side of the road) and he would always say "no charge".
Bo would give anyone his last dollar or the shirt off his back without flinching. He was a kind and gentle soul and often misunderstood.
He loved music and was a gifted singer. His family and friends were amazed at his ability to know every word of every song even after hearing it only one time.
Bo would also tell you quick who his brother was. Judge Al May said he'd never witnessed a brotherly love quite like Kip and Bo had. Fusses and fights? You bet. Absolutely, but nothing or no one could break their bond.
Ironically, the last night of his life he told Mom that she would always be his heart and his number one. And after, he told Kip "I love you more than anything in the world".
It was a beautiful last hour between us. Never dreamed it would be the last time we'd be together.
Pallbearers will be Cody Tyner, Stan Pate, Cassius Lanier, Chief Ken Swindle, Lester Gordon and Jamey Murray.
