Florence Kovach Obituary
AGE: 92 • Horse Shoe, NC
Florence Kovach died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Hendersonville, NC. She was 92. Mrs. Kovach was born and lived most of her life in New Brunswick. Mrs. Kovach was employed by St Peter Medical Center house keeping department for many years retiring at the age of 80. She was a member of the New Brunswick and Franklin Township Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Kovach was predeceased by her husband, Julius in 1995; her sisters, Goldie Giordano, Lena Sciammarella and Sylvia Turano; her step brother, E William Iacovone and her step sister, Helen Lisi. Mrs. Kovach is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Tompsen and her husband Richard of Horse Shoe, NC; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday, 10:00am at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset. Interment will follow at St Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
