Bob Boland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Boland, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully passed away December 2, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on October 15, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bob was a dedicated member of his community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bob, is now reunited in heaven with his late wife Cleopha "Cleo" Boland (nee Knolle). Together, they created a home filled with laughter and warmth. He was a loving father of Mary Boland ,Jo Ann Boland, Robert "Bob" (Charlene) Boland, and David (Peggy) Boland. Grandfather to Shane, Tyler, A.J., Emily, Adam, and Allison, and as great-grandfather to Wyatt, Emily, Lily, Ella, Kinsley, Parker, Harper, and Miller. Bob will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

As a veteran of the Army, Bob served his country with pride, a testament to his character and dedication. His long career as a manager at Kroger Company demonstrated his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Beyond his professional life, Bob's love for music and travel were a significant part of his life, filling his home and spirit with joy. He had a unique ability to engage in conversation with anyone, offering insightful advice and a listening ear. His warmth and compassion drew people to him, creating lifelong friendships and countless cherished memories.

In honor of Bob's life, a memorial gathering will be held at St. Boniface Church located at 1750 Chase Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223 on Monday, December 15, 2025, beginning at 9:30 AM, until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to St. Boniface School, 4305 Pitts Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223 or Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597 Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597 in Bob's memory. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Barrington of Oakley, as well as the Elite Homecare Aides who provided exceptional support and care.
