Robert Eugene Mason, 76, of New Haven, IN passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025, at 2:45 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born January 26, 1949, in Yoder, IN, he was the son of the late Clarence Wayne and Amanda M. (Brindle) Mason.
Bob was an amazing father. He was a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. He was a valued employee of Galbraith's Plant Nursery. He used to coach hockey at the Coliseum and also enjoyed attending Komet Hockey games, animal swap meets and playing pool during his time of bartending.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Wayne and Amanda M. Mason; his brother, Carl Wayne Mason; nephew, Michael Wayne Mason; and son, Andrew Dewayne Mason.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Angela Mason; son Kevin Mason; grandsons, Malcolm Ellis and Anthony Mason; granddaughters, Kierra White, Desire Ellis, Autumn Mason, and Hannah Mason; great-grandchildren, Kaliyah, Kevin, Kiyanna, Kylie, and Kamiyah White; and closest friend and companion, Diane Massey and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN, 46805 with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Condolences and fond memories can be left at www.divinemercyfuneralhome.com for the family.
