Bob Recore

Robert "Bob" N. Recore age 93, of Malone, NY passed away Wednesday September 7, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. A funeral service will be held Saturday September 10, 2022 at 12:00PM with Rev. Michael Jablonski officiating at Frary Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held prior from 10:00AM until the start of the service. Interment will follow the service at St. John Bosco Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home.
Bob was born April 10, 1929 in Malone, NY to the late Wilfred Recore and Maude Rousseau. He attended local schools. On October 1, 1955 Bob married Annette Ploof at St. John Bosco Church, Malone, NY.
Bob owned and operated a transmission repair shop, named Recore and Son. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, an avid NASCAR fan, building numerous dirt track stock cars dating back the 1960's. He enjoyed working on antique classic cars, restoring his pride and joy, a 1949 Caddy. He was a long-time member of the Malone Auto Club.
Mr. Recore is survived by his wife Annette Recore of Malone, NY; a son, Douglas Recore of Constable, NY; a daughter, Denise Nestorovski of Massena; three brothers, Richard Recore of Malone, NY, Wilfred Recore Jr. and his wife Kelly of Brasher, NY, and James Pecore of Bombay, NY; two grandsons, Trevor Jones of Malone, NY and Damian (Desha) Buchta of Watertown, NY; a great grandson, Raece Jones of Malone, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred Recore and Maude Rousseau; his brothers, Leslie Bashaw, Emerson Recore, and Nelson Recore; three sisters, Rita Lamica, Theresa Wade and Rena Capstraw.
