Robert "Bob" Winn Snider Jr., 64, of Lebanon, MO passed away peacefully on December 21st, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO following a brain aneurysm and stroke. He was born April 5, 1959, to Robert and Eva Snider in Kansas City, KS.
Bob was a loyal provider, father and husband who worked long hours on the road for much of his working life. He was a loving brother. He liked best to be at home, or to be fishing, or to walk the quiet of his woods. Those who know and love him probably recall many nights of playing cards and telling stories with Bob. He was strong-headed but generous and giving, often opening his home to people who needed a little help. In the roughly two years preceding his passing, he reported enjoying his day-to-day life a great deal, working at a variety of things on any given day and traveling to talk with prospective business. He enjoyed meeting the people.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Snider, and his father, Robert Snider Sr. He is survived by his two sons, Tucker Snider and Jacob Snider; his wife, Tina Snider; and his two siblings, Timothy Snider and Vicky Owens. Beyond these, he is survived by a large extended family and the many friends a lifetime of hard work and travel help to acquire.
A brief memorial service will be held at noon on January 20th at Flatwoods Church at 22862 State Highway OO, Lebanon, MO 65536. Please come as you are but know that Bob would have had you come in nothing more formal than overalls.
If you would like to send flowers for the service, please send them to Tina Snider at 21463, Hwy OO, Lebanon MO. Alternatively, you may consider a donation in honor of Bob Snider to a children's charity such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Toys for Tots.
