Bobbie P. Barnes, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed from this life into her eternal home on August 29, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on February 16, 1934, in Winchester, Tennessee, to the late Pete and Nellie (Gillispie) Partin. Bobbie dedicated her life to her family and to her Lord. She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, treasuring every moment spent with them. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play ball, always cheering them on with love and pride. Bobbie was a faithful Christian woman and attended Decherd Church of Christ, where she worshipped and served with joy. Her faith guided every step of her life, and she was a shining example of kindness, humility, and devotion. She also found great happiness in simple pleasures like working in her yard, tending her flowers and garden, and enjoying the beauty of God's creation. For many years, Bobbie worked as a skilled seamstress at Lanier Clothing, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Barnes; grandchild, Dylan Daniel; siblings, Dorothy Partin, Robert Partin, Jackie Partin, Alfred Partin, Joe Partin, William Buddy Partin, and Doug Partin. She is survived by her children, William (Pam) Barnes, Kay (Randy) Crownover, Terry (Karen) Barnes, and Sandra (Dennis) Daniel; grandchildren, Samantha (Scott) McClanahan, Brandi Simmons, Dwayne Daniel, Adam (Ashley) Barnes, and Kylan Daniel (Clay); great grandchildren, Logan McClanahan, Isabella Barnes, and Cooper Bares; siblings, Martha Davis and Bonnie (Calvin) Havner. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Watson Memorial Park with Bro. Walter Rayburn officiating.
