Bobbie Irwin Cox

Bobbie Irwin Cox was born on September 5, 1935, in Bentonia, MS, to William Albert Irwin Sr. and Fannie Bell (Kincaid) Irwin. She peacefully departed this life on January 22, 2026.

She moved to Clarksdale and began a family with her former spouse, Paul Burton, welcoming their son, Irwin. A few years later, with John Earl "Red" Baine, she added their son, Robert, to the family. Bobbie dedicated herself to serving her community first as a beautician and later at Delta Manor, where she ensured the residents', nutritional needs were met before retiring.

Together, they brought joy to all who knew them.

Bobbie was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and The Rolling Along Club. She was a confident woman of faith. Bobbie cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, W.A. Irwin Jr., sister, Rosemary Chance, brother-in-law, Richard Chance, and husbands, John Earl "Red" Baine and Charles Cox.
