Bobbie Ray Davis, age 95, of Abilene, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8th, 2026.
Bobbie was born in Brownfield, Texas, to Allene and Robert Davis. He was a longtime resident of Abilene and will be remembered for his strong love for his family and his ability to always find a way to make you smile. He enjoyed being outdoors, going for walks, and visiting with the neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Davis and Coleman Newman, and his sisters, Ann Bagwell and Melba Bowen. He is survived by many loving family members.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 10:00–11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16th, at Hamil Family Funeral Home, located at 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas. Burial will be held at Eula Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank Kinder Hearts Hospice, Encompass Rehab, Dr. Brian Ganesh, and Dr. Victor Hudman II. We deeply appreciate your knowledge, comforting presence, and kindness.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
