Bobbie M. Jeffcoat, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed from this life on January 21, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas, just days shy of her 89th birthday. Born on January 25, 1936, in Lufkin, Texas, Bobbie was a fixture in her community and a cherished member of her family.
Bobbie was known for her unwavering spirit and her deep love for the outdoors. Among her proudest accomplishments was her passion for yard work, where she found joy and solace. Her green thumb was a testament to her nurturing nature, and she often spent countless hours tending to her garden, which blossomed under her careful attention.
Her engagement with the community was further reflected in her active involvement with the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, where she forged lasting friendships and made contributions that resonated with those around her.
Bobbie is survived by her two sons, Walter Tucker and his wife Kristine, and James Gafford. She took great pride in her grandchildren, Crystal Talbert and Calvin Tucker, and delighted in the company of her great-grandchildren, Brandon Fontenot, Joshua Talbert, and Addison Talbert. She will also be remembered fondly by her siblings, Betty Farrington and her husband John, Don Williams and his wife Clara, Earl Williams and his wife Mary Ann.
Preceding Bobbie in death were her beloved husband, Pete Jeffcoat, who she shared ten wonderful years with, and her parents, Johnnie Williams and Birdie Martin Williams, her brothers, Johnnie Williams, Jr., Wade Williams, Wayne Williams, and Roy Lee Williams.. Their memories will forever be intertwined with Bobbie's legacy of love, care, and community.
