Bobbie Gene, "Bob" Perry, 90, passed this life from his home in Springfield, MO to join His Lord on January 6, 2024. He was born November 14, 1933.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Betty Perry (2003) his parents Ival Perry (1985) and Marie Perry (2005), his granddaughter Summer Perry (2009) and his brother Bud Perry (2017).
He is survived by his second wife of 19 years Carol Perry, his children, Stephen Perry, Mark Perry and wife Brenda, Cindy Waters and husband Patrick and Christopher Perry and wife Terri. 9 grandchildrens Matthew Perry, Laura Waters, Anthony Perry, Eli Cunningham, Sara Page, Brittany Jehle, Zachary Perry Ayla Perry and Nathan Perry and 9 great-grandchildren.
Bob will be remembered for the Globe News Agency, Perry's Antiques and Collectibles and Airport Speedway. He is a member of the Ozarks Area Racers Hall of Fame.
He was a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God for many years. He was a Navy veteran.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the outstanding care provided by the Cox Hospice team.
Funeral service will be at Oak Grove Assembly of God, Friday, January 12. Visitation will be 12 noon to 1:00 with the service at 1:00. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
