East Providence -Juliette L. (Lapointe) Perry,88 affectionately known as Juliette to her friends and family, passed away peacefully at her home in East Providence on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Born on June 24, 1937, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Juliette was the cherished daughter of the late Philip and Alpherda (Alex) Lapointe. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Perry, and together they shared a lifetime of love and memories.
Juliette's legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted children: David Perry and Robert Perry, both of East Providence; Constance Desbiens of Fall River; Susan Dumont of Attleboro; and Denise Treacy of Beaumont, California. Her dear cousin, Muriel Boutin, and her husband Joseph of Fall River, also survive her. Juliette was a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren and a great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
For over a decade, Juliette was a dedicated salesclerk, a role she embraced with enthusiasm and care at Delly's and later at Dumont Jewelers. Her work ethic and genuine warmth endeared her to her colleagues and clients alike, leaving a lasting impression on the many lives she touched.
An avid reader, Juliette found solace and adventure within the pages of countless books. Her passion for knowledge and storytelling was something she shared with all who knew her. Juliette's involvement in her community was marked by her active membership in the Women's Guild and her unwavering support of the Notre Dame Club. As a faithful parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church, Juliette lived a life of service and grace, embodying the values she held so dear.
Above all, Juliette was a family woman. Her favorite activity, without a doubt, was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Each moment spent with them was treasured, and she never missed an opportunity to express her love and support. Juliette's legacy of love and faith is a testament to the passionate life she led, one filled with purpose and joy.
Those who knew Juliette would describe her as loving, faith-filled, and passionate. Her presence was a blessing, her laughter contagious, and her guidance sought after. Juliette's life was a tapestry of love woven with the threads of devotion, compassion, and kindness, which will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Juliette's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit lives on in the memories cherished by her family and friends. Her journey on earth may have concluded, but the impact of her love and the example of her life will resonate for generations to come. Juliette L. (Lapointe) Perry will be deeply missed, yet her legacy will forever be celebrated.
Her funeral will be held on Friday October 24, 2025, at 8:45am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 1540 Stafford Road, Fall River, MA.
