Pawtucket- Frederick Michael White Patnaude, affectionately known as Fred, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the age of 45, at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Born on March 7, 1980, in Providence, Fred was a cherished son, father, brother, and grandfather who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched.
Fred was the beloved son of Timothy E. Patnaude of West Warwick and the late Elizabeth Ann (White) Patnaude. He was a devoted father to his son Trent Patnaude and his wife Ashleigh of Pawtucket, a loving brother to Michael Semensi of Texas and Essence Maria Patnaude of Kansas, and a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Jordan and Leah Patnaude. Fred also held a special place in the heart of his former wife, Stephanie Visinho.
A proud veteran of the US Navy, Fred served his country with honor and dedication, serving as a Petty Officer 2nd class. Following his military service, he pursued his passion for technology and earned a computer technician degree from MTTI. Fred's expertise and commitment to his craft led him to a fulfilling career as a Computer Technician for Coastal 1 Credit Union, where he was known for his problem-solving skills and his ability to make complex technical issues understandable for his colleagues and clients.
Fred lived in Pawtucket for over three years, having moved from Rumford. His interests were as unique as his personality, with a particular fondness for all things Star Wars. Fred's love for the epic space saga was more than just a hobby; it was a reflection of his imaginative spirit and his belief in the triumph of good over evil.
Known for being kind, intelligent, and wise, Fred's presence was a source of comfort and guidance. He approached life with a quiet strength and a gentle demeanor that endeared him to many. Fred's wisdom was sought after by friends and family alike, and his kind-hearted nature made him a pillar in the lives of those he loved.
Fred's legacy is one of love, service, and the pursuit of knowledge. He was a man who valued family above all else and who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His intelligence was matched only by his kindness, and his wisdom was a beacon of light for those fortunate enough to know him.
As we bid farewell to Frederick Michael White Patnaude, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and grace. Fred's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories shared by his family, the laughter of his grandchildren, and the countless lives he touched. His journey on earth may have concluded, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Rest in peace, dear Fred, your legacy will never be forgotten.
