ROCKVILLE-Bobbie Lee Cottrell Richardson, 49, of Rockville, Indiana passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Union Hospital in Clinton. She was a homemaker and home care giver with Help at Home. She was born on November 27, 1975, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Samuel Cottrell, Sr. and Elzina Cogar Cottrell.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Russell D. Richardson whom she married July 20, 2005, in Newport; also surviving, her mother of Clinton; two sons, Otto Samuel Richardson of Shelbyville and Thomas Seaver Richardson of Rockville; step-daughter, Jessalyn Michelle Norris of Sullivan; five siblings, Sandra Smith of Florida, Debra Richardson of Dana, Dennis Cottrell of Clinton, Samuel Cottrell, Jr. of Richland, Missouri, and Robert Cottrell of San Pedro, California; three grandchildren, Makaylee, Brodee and Annamarie Michelle; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and daughter, Gabriella Dominique Cloyd.
She was a graduate of Riverton Parke High School. She enjoyed gardening, treasure hunting, fishing, camping and mushroom hunting.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday, March 20, at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 281 N. Main Street, Rosedale. The family will host a celebration of life Sunday April 20, from 12 noon until 5:00 pm at the Helt Fire and Rescue-Dana Community Fire House, 160 N. Maple Street, Dana.
Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to Catholic Charities Foodbank, 430 N. 14 ½ Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807 in her memory.
