Bobbie Trahan Smith

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Matthews Funeral Home in Gueydan, LA. Visitation will continue Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 8:00 AM until the time of service at Matthews Funeral Home in Gueydan, LA.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Matthews Funeral Home in Gueydan, LA.

Burial will follow the service in Gueydan Cemetery.

Bobbie was born on September 27, 1945, in Crowley, LA and was a lifetime resident of Gueydan, LA. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Bobbie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Barbara Heath (Marvin); her son, Stanford Smith, Jr. (Kelly); her sister, Berta Thibodeaux (Marshall); her brother, Terry Thibodeaux (Margaret); her eight grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Pearl Trahan; her husband, Stanford Joseph Smith, Sr.; her two sons, Lester James Smith and Anderson Paul, Sr.; her three sisters, Barbara Dopson, Sandra Trahan, and Alice Trahan; as well as her three brothers, Curtis "CJ" Trahan, Douglas Trahan, and Leroy Trahan.

Pallbearers will be Eric Smith, Brett Heath, Dylan Smith, Aidan Smith, AJ Smith, and DJ Ward.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jace Heath and Blexx Bertrand.
