With profound sadness, the family of Bobby Earl Clements announces his passing on Monday evening, December 9, 2024, at Magnolia Manor in Americus, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2024, at Cedar Creek Cemetery. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather at Bobby's home, 836 South Coney Road, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to offer their condolences.
Bobby was born in Cordele, Georgia, to the late Virgil Bud Clements and Lola Winnie-Bell Denham Clements. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Sammy Clements, Perry Lee Clements, Billy Joe Clements, and Roger Clements.
A proud veteran, Bobby served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Throughout his life, he worked as a self-employed painter and embraced his faith as a Baptist. Bobby found joy in the outdoors, whether hunting at the deer camp, fishing, or gardening. He was also a devoted NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his children: Ricky Clements (Gail) of Vienna, Roy Clements of Cordele, and Barbara Boland (Raymond) of Cordele; his sister, Mary Lamb of Cordele; and his sister-in-law, Thelma Clements of Oakfield, Georgia. Bobby cherished his grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Ericka Ward, Wesley Herrington (Laurie), Tonya Reid (Ray), Katelyn McAllister (Seth), and Cody Clements; as well as his great-grandchildren: Emily Ward, Lauren Ward, Thomas Ward, Korey Herrington, Kasey Herrington, Steven Reid, Daniel Reid, William Reid, Amos McAllister, and Eli McAllister. He also leaves behind his great-great-grandchildren: Raine Herrington, Reese Herrington, Charlee Jean Herrington, Karter Herrington, and Toby Reid.
