Bobby Wayne Coleman

Funeral Services for Bobby Wayne Coleman, 74, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 6, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Northeast Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Bobby was born June 11, 1949, in Delhi, LA to Alex and Geraldine Coleman and passed away October 1, 2023, at his residence in Monroe, LA.

Bobby found joy in fishing and was an avid hunter. He spent many days at his hunting camp doing just that. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bobby served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at Holsom Bread Company for 10 years. He also worked for 20 years in Natchez, MS, at Consteel Co.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Geraldine Coleman; and two brothers, Jimmy and Mike Coleman.   

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jessamine Coleman; children, Marcus Wayne Coleman, Shelly Coleman Cadek and husband, Tom, Billy Rogers Leonard and wife, Thoy, Lisa Carroll Kitto and husband, Bill, and Marie Leonard Brown; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Buddy Coleman; sister, Shirley Gibson and husband, Billy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Ben Hamm, Scott Fowler, Freddy Dearman, Nick Gibson, Daniel Leonard, and Nathan Grammes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Brown, Roy Brown, Bill Kitto, William Kitto, Christian Kitto, Kyle Crockett, and Jason Coleman.
