Robert "Bobby" Crump, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Born on June 12, 1959, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to the late Robert and Orene (Bell) Crump, Bobby was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, friend. He will remembered fondly for his unwavering devotion to his family and friends. A passionate sports enthusiast, Bobby cheered for the University of Kentucky, the Boston Red Sox, and the Cleveland Browns, proudly declaring "Roll Tide" as part of his spirited personality. His playful nature shone through in his love for playful pranks and jokes, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
Bobby is survived by his cherished son, Eric (Melissa) Crump; daughters, Nicole (Jacob Newton) Crump and Kayla Crump; sister, Sandra (Thomas) Potts; and his adored grandchildren, Dakota, Dyllan, Dylanney, Damon, and Brody Crump. He also leaves behind a niece, Shannon (Jason) Osborne; a nephew, Shane (Andrea) Hayden; and his only surviving aunt, Imogene Lowery, along with many friends and family who will hold his memory close to their hearts.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. A Funeral Service will follow on Monday at 11:00 a.m., with burial at Old Lone Oak Cemetery in Clarkson, Kentucky.
