Bobby Evans, age 93, was the youngest of eight children born to Roscoe W. Sr. and Maude Tribble Evans.
Bob was a hard worker who prided himself as a working man. Bob raised chickens and cattle and together with his brothers, owned a sawmill, a service station, a construction company, and an asphalt paving company.
Bob married his love Suelaine Barber in 1951 and together they raised two sons.
Bob loved Gospel singing and attending New Harmony Baptist Church where he was a member since 1944.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roscoe William Evans, Sr. and Maude Tribble Evans; brothers, Roy (Edna), Toy (Alma), R.W., Jr. (Edna), Henry (Louise), Eugene (Sarah); sisters, Annelle (Steve) Grogan and Irene Evans Nelson; Father and Mother in-law Broughton and Odell Barber; Brother and Sister In-Law Wayne and Jo Bates.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Suelaine Barber Evans; sons, Ricky (Karen) and Randy (Kim); grandchildren, Angela (Steve) Schimweg, Cory (Michelle) Evans, Jacob (Mystical) Evans, Mason (Kristin) Evans, and nine great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Bob will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at 11 AM at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating.
