Bobby Ferguson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ramage Funeral Directors, Inc. - Hale Center on Dec. 10, 2025.
Bobby "Bob" Ferguson, 80, of Cache, Oklahoma, died Monday, December 8, 2025, in Hale Center, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Cache Christian Church in Cache, Oklahoma, with Pastor John Webb officiating. Local arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center.

Bob was born January 30, 1945, in Snyder, Oklahoma, to Bill and Lorene (Reddin) Ferguson. He graduated from Cache High School in 1963 and attended Cameron College. A lifetime resident of Cache, Bob married Brenda Joyce Long on June 26, 1964, and together they shared 61 years of devotion and partnership.

He worked as an electrician and owned and operated Cache Electric for more than 33 years. A steady presence and a helping hand to many, Bob was known for going the extra mile for neighbors, customers, and friends.

Family was at the heart of his days. He treasured time spent with his kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, especially on fishing trips. He enjoyed his visits to the coffee shop, tending his vegetable garden, staying busy with whatever needed doing, and settling in with a good western. John Wayne, Gunsmoke, and Bonanza were longtime favorites.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Danny Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ferguson of Cache; two daughters, Bobbie Ferguson of Cache and Shelly Trim of Tulsa; his brother, Billy Ferguson of Oklahoma City; his sister, Doris Bennett of Cache; two grandchildren, Ashley Richardson and Toni Trim; and three great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Lynex, and Andi. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Flint Runyon of Cache, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
